Was it the IKEA-TV-report I saw last week that makes me think so much about Sweden. Well, actually no, it's just that I want to know more about the parks and attractions of that country.

I just visited the website of Furuvik park in Gävle
furuvik.se default.asp

There seem to be at least a Huss-pirateship and a Huss-Frisbee.
What else can be found there?
There used to be a Pinfari (?) looping coaster called "Superloopen", has it been sold?

Djur is the Swedish word for animals?
Nöje is the Swedish word for amusement?

You're absolutely correct about the translations.
I would like to visit this park but I need a car first.
The park did have an Huss Face Off too I think but it looks like it's gone now.
The other rides at the park are the typical, Huss Frisbee, Pirate ship, Bumber Cars, Ghost Train, Dumbo kind of ride and an kiddy coaster I belive. The Pinfari coaster looks like it's been sold. Where I do not know.
They also offer free Pepsi according to their website... hmmm a woodie might be next S S

Hi, Olov,

Zitat The park did have an Huss Face Off too

I think you meant Take Off, right?
Maybe this one has become the new Take Off at Eskilstuna?

Yes sorry, take off.
Could be, the park (Parken Zoo) haven't told anything where their Take Off came from so it's possible that it came from Furuvik...

There is a german expression like
"Warum in die Ferne schweifen, dass Gute liegt oft ganz nah"
what can be translated to
"Why looking far and away, good things are often nearby."
