I went with my family to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio on the Canadian long weekend (Victoria Day Holiday). Some higlights:
-I rode maXair a few times, but overall I don't think I am a fan of the HUSS Giant Frisbee. I much prefer the Mondial Revolution (much more relaxing, smoother, easier on the body).
-Dragster is frustratingly difficult to get on! One drop of rain and the whole ride shuts down.
-Millennium Force is fantastic as always
My camera is the highly-unpopular Sony DSC-F88. It was only available for a few months in Canada before it was pulled from the shelves and got massive discounts. Aparently everyone hated it! I happen to love it, as it offers full manual control. I typically either use a small tripod, or I set the camera on the ground (the lens-assembly can rotate removing the need to use a tripod in most cases).
The Giant Frisbee bothers me because of the high forces, I think it's a combination of a too-high swing angle with a higher gondola rotation. 100 degrees or so seems to be about the "good spot" for these kinds of rides (Gyro Swing, Revolution). Any more and the physics will require (regardless of the size of the pendulum) that the forces at the bottom get unbearable (to me, anyway!). I'm sure I'm in a minority.
@ Tejay,
I thought someone might coment on that photo. My parents grew up with ABBA and as a kid I learned the words to most of the songs listening in the car rides. So on this trip with my parents again they thought it would be fun to listen to some "Classics".

And they are right when thinking so. Or do you disagree with them?
I don't wanna talk,
about things we've gone through..."
I also grew up with the sounds of ABBA, actually "One of us" was my second single (those black little things, that once conserved music) and "The Visitors" was my first LP (The bigger black version of conserved music) and I truly admit
"I looooooove ABBA!"
I wonder why the camera was unpopular - DP Review (great site, that) seemed to think it was a decent camera. It did say Sony do a lot of 5 megapixel cameras, so maybe there was one people considered better value hence it never flew off the shelves?
I had a budget of £200 GBP (about $400 USD) when I bought my camera a few years ago and opted for the Canon A40. I have taken some amazing pictures on it, and it has taught me a lot about taking a good photo.
The rotating lens on your camera is a nice touch. Makes sense, too, and certainly opens up a lot of opportunities as a lot of my photos are taken with me squatting down like a village fool.
Here is one of my favourite photos for a while, taken last year in Germany:
