This video is of the last operating Moon Rocket in England. It was built in 1938 for the Shaw family where it traveled until 1982 in their ownership.

It was then in store by someone called Knightsbridge until sold in 1993 to Howard Madden.

He spent over £100,000 (US$160,000) restoring this fantastic ride.

This Moon Rocket was one of only two machines to be converted to the popular and famous swinging cars which it had fitted in 1964.

The ride is still is wonderful condition and rides fast and smooth, a real credit to the Maddens.
