So, the park will continue its relationship with Huss.
Good choice for Marineland.
Good for you, Iain, beause you don't have to go that deep south (to Dolly) to take a ride on the ring.
But the ride won't come until 2007. As with all MarineLand projects, they're dragging their feet and parts won't arrive for the new ride until late this fall or early winter. Sigh.
The location should be good. It's located right next to a pedestrian walkway, and a river on the oposite side (not visible in the photo). So you'll either be tipping over the people watching the ride or the river behind it.
nice to see some new staff from your country.
Do you know what is the reason for delaying the Topple Tower?
What does the expression "dragging their feet" mean?
Ahh "Dragging their feet" means, they're in no hurry. If you are walking forward but don't want to get to where you are going, you are slowing yourself down by draging a foot behind you. MarineLand typically takes several years to build attractions. Sky Screamer took about 4 years from the first ground work until it finally opened to the public (and it's still not finished). "Discovery Cove" was suposed to open in 2000 and every year they put a new sticker on the date (It says "New Discovery Cove Opening in 200X" where X changes every year to the next year... except they stopped doing that in 2003. )
thanks for your update. Enjoy your weekend Tour. I will be glad to see your review.
Please, try to check out, whether you can find a Huss-Metal-Plate for me, in order to fill the questions marks in this posting:

Here are the photos from today. It's such a fantastic ride!! But, it's a very boring location compared to all the European ones. They have fountains, but the MarineLand machine just sits on top of flowers and dirt. The official name is not published anywhere, but at MarineLand, none of the rides have published names except Dragon Mountain, and Sky Screamer.
Hi, Iain,
thanks a lot for taking the picture and sharing.
The new plates look crowded with ride information in contrast to those used by the "old" Huss enterprise. (Enterprise not meant as the ride called "Enterprise")
