surfing around the web I just stumbled upon a new class offered by my former University which is called "Roller Coaster Dynamics". Basic principles are explained using a rollercoaster as example. As final project teams have to design their own rollercoasters and model them, from what I can tell, using NoLimits.
The Class Notes are quite interesting and the linked "Coaster Dynamics Articles by Prof. Alfred Clark (Purdue Alum)" are provide a good overview of involved physics during the process of designing a rollercoaster. Give it a try!
