Well, you might have missed the first one, due to the fact that it was only written in German. Thus, this time, we would like to do it better. We re-read our schoolbooks and freshened up on writing English - and "Here we go!"


- New English writing section at onride.de

You are receiving this newsletter due to the fact that you regularly or maybe just once came across onride.de.
onride.de is a community fan board that is dedicated to fans of rollercoasters, fairground attractions and theme parks. As some of you might find it difficult to write in German we are very proud of announcing a new corner at onride.de that is absolutely reserved for writing in English. Consequently, if there are some burning questions, comments, remarks or requests you always wanted to share with a German fan-audience, now here is the place to do so.
The new section is called "Coasters, Parks, and Funfairs" . We invite you to visit and participate with all your passion and postings.

We, the onride.de-Team, are looking forward to reading from you and sharing thoughts and pictures on a more international style.


- Meeting at Rheinkirmes and at Holiday Park

Within the last two months of our existence there have already been two get togethers of members of onride.de to where the fun is taking place. We spent a day at Six Flags Belgium to try the new Sally darkride "Challenge of Tutankhamon": onride.de viewtopic.php
Another meeting took place in the city of Oberhausen-Sterkrade, where a famous German fairground (the Fronleichnamskirmes) had been celebrated: onride.de viewtopic.php

The two meetings were an instant hit among those who attended, thus, we are very happy to announce two new dates for meeting again soon.
The following weekend will be a chance to meet and greet at Rheinkirmes in Düsseldorf on Saturday (July 12, 2003)
and at Holiday Park in Hassloch on Sunday (July 13, 2003).

- Rheinkirmes in Düsseldorf on Saturday (July 12, 2003)
Next Saturday will see the start of one of Germany's big fairgrounds: the rheinkirmes at Düsseldorf. The fairground is located right in the heart of the city in North-Rhine-Westfalia. The highlight of our meeting will see the world premiere of a new thrill ride from german manufactor Zierer. The ride that is called "High Energy" will be presented by German showman Kaiser and hopefully we will be among the first public riders of this promising looking addition to Germany's splendid fairground scene. - Meeting at Holiday Park on Sunday (July 13, 2003)
The next day will see the meeting of onride.de-users at German amusement park "Holiday Park". The Holiday Park will see the return of Richard Rodriguez who will start a new rollercoaster-marathon after his successfull appearance in 2002. Maybe you will like to send him your regards while riding next to him on Expedition GeForce the world-famous rollercoaster from Intamin. Details can be found here: onride.de viewtopic.php


- New password required for using the download section of coastervideos.de

On a regular basis, we have to change the password for our download section of coastervideos.de which enables you to take a moving front seat look and off-ride scenes from famous European coaster rides. More details about the changes can be found here: onride.de viewtopic.php
