Cleaning up my Harddisk brought up some forgotten pics.
from Sentosa Island Singapore, which me and my girl visited
in 2001.
OK OK! It's not that thrill-packed themepark but the people
in Singapore call it an amusement-park.
These nice view is taken from the cable-car(90m) which crosses
the bay starting at Mount Faber via the World Trade Centre to Sentosa Island.
As a hint for people who get sick in higher locations, they also
have a bridge as an alternative.(Right-upper corner)
To get an imagination of the cable-cars height just have a close
look for that luxury cruising-ship.
Welcome to Sentosa Island
This wooden-bridge
connects to the southern-most point of continental Asia.
From this nice pagoda
you can watch the beautiful lagoon
or enjoy the sea-view.
Due to we had a working-day it was really quiete annd peaceful
Here some shots from Asia's biggest aquarium
Mr. Shark
beautiful sea-dragons

a pike
an electric-eel
piranhas
Due to christmas time(Dec. 2001) the city was really christmas-themed, altough the approx. temperature was 30-35°C
When travelling to East-Asia don't miss to take time for a stop-over at Singapore. It's worth a visit, since you can see so many nice places there. Shopping might be another good reason for visiting Singapore.
